The Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has declared that the government has restored stability to Ghana’s economy within a short period.
He argued that this significant achievement was accomplished in less than 200 days.
Dr. Ato Forson made this known while delivering the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament on Thursday, July 24.
“In less than 200 days, we have brought back clarity, certainty, stability and purpose to our economic policy in the nation.”
He noted that the signs of recovery were already evident and being acknowledged by the populace.
“We have made significant progress and the signs of recovery are obvious, evident, noticeable and visible, tangible and they are being felt,” he added.
According to him, the incumbent government didn’t assume power to manage economic decline rather they came to reverse and rest it.
