Ghana’s Creative Arts Agency has announced plans to hold a National Candlelight Vigil in memory of the late hilife music legend, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba.
According to the Agency, the solemn and inspirational event will take place on 2nd August, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
According to them, the vigil forms part of a global tribute taking place concurrently in Ghana, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Netherlands.
The Creative Arts Agency stated that the event aims to honor the legacy of the iconic musician and unite people in celebrating the power of music, culture, and community.
Participants are encouraged to confirm their attendance by July 31.
