The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of funds to all Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) nationwide to cover the 2025 WASSCE practical examination fees.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of GES, the funds are intended to fully support the scheduled practicals by ensuring the availability of required materials and other essential resources.
“The Ghana Education Service seeks to facilitate a smooth and well-coordinated examination process that enables students to focus on their academic work, while relieving parents and guardians of any such financial burden,” indicated the statement signed by Mr. Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations, GES.
In this regard, regional, district, and school authorities have been urged to ensure that the funds are applied strictly for their intended purpose.
GES emphasized that it will continue to monitor utilization processes to maintain accountability and uphold high standards in the administration of the exams.
GES expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling environment for the success of students across the country.
