Controversial Ghanaian counselor, Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, has cast doubt on Odo Broni’s claims of being legally married to the late Highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.
Speaking in an interview on Angel Drive on Angel FM, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, Counselor Lutterodt insisted that the only known wife of the musician is Akosua Serwaa, whom he reportedly married in Germany.
“We know the wife of Daddy Lumba is the one he married in Germany, Akosua Serwaa. So why will someone come out during the one week celebration and claim she is also the wife of Daddy Lumba?” he quizzed.
According to him, unless Odo Broni can provide credible evidence of her marriage to the musician, her claims cannot be taken seriously.
“If truly Odo Broni was married to Daddy Lumba, then prove it to us. His wife in Germany’s pictures are everywhere, and everyone knows Daddy Lumba married her. They got married in 1991, and there’s no proof that they divorced,” Counselor Lutterodt argued.
He further advised Odo Broni to accept her status respectfully.
“So madam, be a baby mama. Let’s respect you as a baby mama. Don’t force yourself to show you were married to him,” he added.
