Gospel star, Piesie Esther, has spoken out in defense of collaborating with Kuami Eugene, stressing that there is nothing wrong with working with a secular artiste.
In an interview, the award winning singer praised the versatile musician, describing him as someone who bridges both gospel and secular music while maintaining a deep reverence for God.
“There’s something about Kuami Eugene he stands in the middle. He sings both gospel and secular songs. Everyone knows he’s a church boy who loves God. One thing I’m happy about him is that he is someone who fears and loves God,” she said.
Piesie Esther further noted that when working with Kuami Eugene, his spirituality is felt, making the collaboration seamless.
“When working with him you won’t feel he’s different from you; you will know the presence is there. There’s nothing wrong with someone who sings secular music,” she affirmed.
She concluded by urging Ghanaians to celebrate Kuami Eugene’s contribution to music.
“Let’s praise and congratulate him, he has really done well,” she added.
