The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year.
The Authority stated that a total of 85,159 personnel from accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to various public and private sector agencies across the country.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director-General of the Authority, Ruth Dela Seddoh, and issued on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
“As of today, Tuesday, 28th October 2025, a total of Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-Nine (85,159) personnel drawn from all accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to both private and public user agencies to undertake their one-year mandatory service towards national development.”
The Authority noted that the current figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mismatch and are awaiting review, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives, and others in similar categories.
It explained that “All personnel under the data mis-match category are to note that their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch.”
It further indicated that “the total number of postings is expected to rise in due course.”
For the avoidance of doubt, the Authority has provided clarity and details of the deployment figures
- Total Students Uploaded – 150,937
- Total Paid Pin Code – 91,339
- Total Verified (with Ghana Card only) – 85,459
- Total Number of Personnel Completed Registration – 85,159
The NSA further announced that “Regional Validation and Registration will start on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, and end on Friday, 21st November 2025.”
The Authority entreated all personnel to accept their postings, stating that the 2025/2026 national service will officially begin on Monday, November 3, 2025.
