The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, will appear before the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) on Friday, October 31, 2025.
His appearance relates to an invitation from the OSP following claims he made in a recent interview.
In a one-on-one interview with Saddick Adams on Angel TV, Mr. Kotey disclosed that an unnamed man attempted to bribe him after he assumed office.
He added that the amount, GHC4million offer, to influenced him from implementing the new DP number plate policy was rejected. This has prompted the OSP to invite him for questioning.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Mr. Kotey confirmed receiving the invitation and expressed his willingness to honor it.
“I received a letter from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) on 29th October 2025, at 11:am. I will be available at the OSP’s office on Friday, 31st October 2025 at 11am,” the post reads.
