Gospel singer Piesie Esther has cautioned men to be vigilant about the women they encounter randomly, claiming some may be spiritual entities posing as humans.
Speaking on an interview on Okay Fm reposted by Zionfelix, the award-winning singer expressed concern over the increasing trend of men engaging in casual encounters with strangers they barely know.
According to her, some women men meet randomly could be “ghosts” or from “marine spirits.”
“Those who suffer a lot in life are the men especially. A man can meet a woman just a day at a club, party or anywhere and go home with her the same day. He doesn’t know her from anywhere, yet he sleeps with her,” she said.
Piesie Esther questioned the risks associated with such actions, noting that men may unknowingly put themselves in life altering situations.
“You don’t know if that lady is a snake, a marine girl or a ghost,” she stressed. “What if you take her home and later she passes away how are you going to defend yourself?”
She contrasted current social behavior with that of past generations, stating that such encounters were not as common years ago.
“In our generation, things weren’t like that. Even if it happened, it wasn’t as common as it is now,” she noted.
Piesie Esther also highlighted how social media has contributed to impulsive romantic or sexual interactions.
“Some meet them on social media, start texting, and the next thing is they meet and have sexual relationships,” she said.
The gospel star ultimately urged men to be cautious.
“My advice is that men should be aware of the random women they meet to have fun with,” she advised.
