Media personality and award-winning DJ, Ohemaa Woyeje, has sparked conversation after calling for mandatory DNA tests for every child born, insisting that it would promote responsibility among women and bring transparency in family matters.
Speaking on her show, Y’aduma Nie on Angel FM, Ohemaa Woyeje emphasized that men should have the right to confirm the paternity of their children through DNA testing, which she believes would reduce cases of deception and mistrust in relationships.
“Men should have DNA on their children; it should be part so that it will make women responsible. Even if we play around, it wouldn’t be overboard,” she said.
She further cautioned men against allowing women to handle DNA tests alone, alleging that some could manipulate the process.
“Don’t allow the women to do the DNA, because they can plan with the doctors and provide you with fake DNA results,” Ohemaa Woyeje warned.
Her comments come in the wake of reports involving the late Samuel Aboagye’s wife, who allegedly failed to provide DNA proof following questions about her child’s paternity.
