Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay visited the Ngleshie Alata Laafa Mnarko Onyaitso Stool House as part of the activities leading up to her highly anticipated Shay Concert.
The Concert is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the West Hills Mall in Weija.
During her visit on Friday, November 20, the award-winning singer paid a courtesy call on the chief and elders, where she made donations to support the traditional authorities.
The gesture was part of her commitment to strengthening community ties and acknowledging traditional leadership in the lead-up to the major event.

Wendy Shay also extended her philanthropic efforts to the marketplace, donating cash and mobile phones to market women in Kasoa. She additionally took part in traditional rites, symbolizing respect and seeking blessings for a successful concert.
A woman at the Kasoa New Market, who was visibly excited after receiving one of the phones, expressed her deep gratitude to the singer.
“God should bless her and make her the president of Ghana. She should become Ghana’s first female president because of her kindness,” she said.
