The Authority said the matter is being handled with urgency and seriousness, and the public will be updated upon the conclusion of the investigations.
“As Ghana welcomes thousands of visitors for this year’s December in GH, GTA assures all travellers and the public that the country remains a safe and trusted destination,” the statement issued on Monday, December 8, 2025, read.
The Authority added that national law enforcement and tourism sector partners have reinforced security systems to ensure the safety, comfort, and peace of mind of all visitors throughout the festive season.
GTA urged the public to remain calm and allow the security agencies to complete their work.
