The Ministry of Education has notified all teachers across Ghana that the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has completed processing and paying two types of teacher allowances scheduled for November 2025.
According to a release issued by the Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, on Wednesday, December 17, a technical issue in the final payroll run delayed the payment, but the problem has been resolved by the CAGD, enabling the completion of the payments.
The Ministry apologized to affected teachers for the delay and any inconvenience caused, appreciating their patience, understanding, and continued dedication to quality education in Ghana.
The Ministry affirmed it will continue collaborating with the CAGD and other stakeholders to improve payroll systems and prevent future issues.
