Key government institutions have convened to review and provide technical input for Ghana’s upcoming United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Data Analytics and Statistics Report.

The stakeholders meeting, coordinated by the Human Trafficking Secretariat (HTS) of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, aims to strengthen national coordination and ensure accuracy in data reporting.

The meeting brought together national actors to support the development of the report, focusing on justice delivery, crime prevention, migration, and social protection.

The collaborative approach is expected to produce comprehensive, credible, and harmonized data, contributing to global monitoring frameworks and international indicators under the UNODC system.

“The quality of Ghana’s submission depends largely on the accuracy and timeliness of data provided by partner institutions,” said Madam Abena Annobea Asare, Head of the Human Trafficking Secretariat.
