Award-winning Jamaican dancehall star, Popcaan, has added a cultural wellness stop to his Ghana visit after experiencing the popular ‘Kuria Kuria’ shea butter massage at the Hamamat Shea Butter village in Accra.
The “Family” hitmaker, who is currently in Ghana on a heritage and cultural tour, visited the viral shea butter museum to take part in the traditional full-body scrub performed by the Hamamat Village therapists.
The treatment, widely known on social media for its rhythmic scrubbing technique and use of locally produced shea butter, has become a must-try experience for visiting celebrities.
Popcaan’s session comes weeks after American streamer IShowSpeed spotlighted the facility during his Ghana tour, which significantly boosted international attention and bookings for the spa.
During his stay in Ghana, Popcaan has also toured historic sites including the Cape Coast Castle, as part of efforts to reconnect with African heritage.
