Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has announced plans to celebrate his birthday this year by giving out gold tablets to some of his social media followers.
In a video shared on his social media platforms on March 6, 2026, the businessman revealed that he intends to distribute gold tablets to 1,000 people as part of the celebration of his birthday on March 21.
“March 21, 2026, is my birthday and I want to celebrate it by dashing out gold tablets to my followers,” he said.
According to him, many people had reached out to him to ask whether he would host a birthday party this year and where the event would take place.
“People are reaching out to me and asking me exactly what we are doing on my birthday this time around; are we going to celebrate it with a birthday party again? They want to know the location and dress code and all of that,” he explained.
However, Quaye noted that instead of organising a party, he had decided to share gifts with his followers online.
He stated that he would randomly select 1,000 people from his social media followers to receive the gold tablets.
The entrepreneur added that the gold tablets would be sourced from the Ghana Gold Board and would serve as an investment opportunity for the recipients.
“It will come as a form of investment for you,” he said.
Quaye also encouraged beneficiaries to keep the gold tablets until their value appreciates before selling them.
“I would want those who will get gold from me to keep it for yourself until such a time when the value has multiplied and has become very valuable to you. You can then go back to the Gold Board, sell it and use it for whatever your aim is,” he added.
