Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has announced plans to host the next edition of Rapperholic UK at the iconic The O2 Arena on March 6, 2027, with the aim of a fully-packed venue.
According to the award-winning musician, the concert will coincide with Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations, when the country marks its 70th independence anniversary.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Sarkodie revealed that the venue has a seating capacity of about 20,000, making it one of the largest arenas in the United Kingdom. The move signals his ambition to elevate the Rapperholic brand while showcasing Ghanaian music on a bigger global stage.
Rapperholic, which began as an annual concert in Ghana, has grown into an international music event, particularly with its UK edition drawing fans from across the Ghanaian diaspora and lovers of African music.
The 2027 edition is expected to be a landmark show, not only because of the scale of the venue but also because it aligns with Ghana’s historic independence milestone. Music lovers are anticipating a grand celebration of Ghanaian culture, music, and talent.
The event is also expected to feature performances from top Ghanaian artists and special appearances as part of the celebrations marking Ghana’s 70 years of independence.
