MobileMoney Ltd celebrates 15 years with exciting promotions

MobileMoney Limited (MTN MoMo) has introduced an exciting promotion for customers to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The promotion, called ‘Transact & Win’, will provide customers with the opportunity to win fantastic e-cash prizes.

Abdul Razak Issahaku Ali, the Chief Commercial Officer of MobileMoney Limited, expressed gratitude to all customers for their continued support and patronage over the years and stated that the promotion aims to reward customers for their loyalty.

He encouraged all MoMo Customers to download the myMoMo App from the Play Store or App Store to explore the exciting features and participate in the promotion to win weekly and monthly e-cash prizes.

He emphasized that customers do not need to subscribe to participate in the promotion; they simply need to carry out transactions using MoMo to qualify for the rewards either weekly or at the end of every month.

He also mentioned that the company’s trade partners are included in the celebrations and encouraged them to keep transacting and satisfy all the requirements to be celebrated at the end of the year.

The ‘Transact & Win Promo’ will offer 150 customers a reward of GHS 1,500 from 26th August to 30th November 2024. Each week, 12 customers with the highest volume and value of transactions will be rewarded. In the final week, 18 customers will be rewarded, bringing the total to 150 winners.

Transact & Win Promo – GHS 15,000 for 15 Subscribers per Month

In addition, every month, 15 customers will be rewarded with GHS 15,000 based on the volume and value of transactions carried out via the MyMoMo app. This promo will run for 3 months from 1st September to 30th November 2024, and a total of 45 customers will receive rewards at the end of the promotion.

Customers are encouraged to start transacting today and download or update their MyMoMo App to participate in this milestone celebration. Winners will receive their prizes at the end of each month after being contacted by MTN MoMo via 0244 300 000.

Customers are advised to be cautious of fraudulent activities during the celebration, as scammers may attempt to defraud them. MTN MoMo does NOT charge ANY money before releasing prizes to customers, so any request for money, PIN code, or airtime before redeeming a prize is fraudulent. Official calls related to the promotion from MTN MoMo will come through the official line 0244300000.

MobileMoney LTD launched its 15th anniversary celebrations with market activations in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Ho, under the theme: ‘Empowering Communities: Celebrating 15 Years of Progressive Financial and Digital Inclusion’. The launch was followed by floats on the main streets of Tema, Kasoa, Sunyani, and Koforidua, during which customers received various gift items. A stakeholder forum was also organized to interact, discuss,   the impact of emerging technologies to promote financial inclusion.

Other planned activities for the anniversary celebrations include a fraud education and awareness campaign, digital finance training for SMEs, a cashless market/trade fair, and an awards event to recognize various stakeholders for their contributions to the growth of MobileMoney in Ghana.
