Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has sent a congratulatory message to Ghanaian reggae musician, Rocky Dawuni following his recognition by organizers of the Grammy Awards.
The musician secured his fourth Grammy nomination for the 2025 awards with his uplifting single “Rise” which earned him the nod in the Best Global Music Performance category.
In a Facebook post, Mrs. Bawumia referred to Dawuni as her “good friend” and expressed her excitement over his achievement.
“This is a proud moment for us here in Ghana. Continue to blaze the trail,” the post reads further.
