President of Port City FC, second-tier side of Ghana Football, Dr Francis Ofori-Mensah has been appointed as a committee member of the newly formed Division One Super Cup Committee at the Ghana Football Association
Rabeh El-Eter, President of Division One League side Inter Allies FC, will be the Chairman of the Committee.
This appointment marks a significant step in strengthening the organisation of the off-season competition for Division One League (DOL) clubs.
Richard Osei Akoto, the Administrator for Asante Kotoko SC, has been named Vice Chairman of the Committee.
Other members of the committee include Abdul Rahman Yakubu of Vision FC; Paa Kwesi Arbuah, CEO of New Edubiase United; Mohammed Alhassan, former Hearts of Oak NCC Organiser; and Evans Kyere Kwame, each bringing diverse experience from across Ghana’s football ecosystem.
The Division One League Super Cup Committee is tasked with overseeing the organisation of the off-season competition for DOL clubs ahead of every new season.
The competition offers clubs an opportunity to test their squads, improve fitness levels, and engage fans before the league campaign begins.
