A self-acclaimed uncle of the late legendary musician, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has threatened to stop the final funeral rite for the late musician scheduled for December 6, 2025.
In a viral video circulating on Instagram, the man, whose identity remains unknown and claimed to be a direct relative of Lumba, expressed dissatisfaction with the funeral arrangements.
For this reason, he insisted that under no conditions would he allow the burial to take place on the scheduled date.
“I won’t agree for the funeral to be held. Even if they force us, we still won’t agree. And even if they still go ahead with it, I won’t attend,” he declared.
According to him, his planned decision stemmed from being neglected in key family meetings, especially during the body identification of the deceased after he died in Accra without his consent.
“Could you believe that when we went to Accra to check the dead body, Abusuapayin and his people went to check the body, and they didn’t call me. Which means there’s something behind.
“They can’t just bury him like that. Abusuapayin and the outside bodies are forming something behind,” the self-acclaimed uncle stressed in his threat.
