Ghanaian musician and model, Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, popularly known as Sister Derby, has criticised radio presenter Andy Dosty following a viral video of his interaction with fellow broadcaster Tima Kumkum.
The video shows the two discussing an upcoming event before Andy Dosty makes a sexual remark during their conversation.
The clip has since circulated widely on social media, attracting reactions from users who have raised questions about the nature of the comment and the boundaries that should be maintained between colleagues in a professional environment.
Reacting to the video on X, Sister Derby described the interaction as sexual harassment in the workplace.
“Sexual harassment in the workplace. I can feel her discomfort from here. Eww,” she wrote.
Her comment came in response to an X user who shared the video and questioned Andy Dosty’s remark towards his female colleague.
Sister Derby’s reaction has further fuelled discussions surrounding the viral footage, with social media users debating whether comments of a sexual nature are appropriate in a professional setting.
However, Sister Derby’s description of the incident as sexual harassment represents her personal assessment of the interaction.
Tima Kumkum has not, based on information available at the time of publication, publicly described the incident as harassment or confirmed that she felt uncomfortable during the exchange.
Also, Andy Dosty has not publicly responded to Sister Derby’s criticism at the time of publication.
