Ghanaian award-winning singer, rapper and songwriter, Black Sherif, has been unveiled as the new face and brand ambassador of Telecel Cash.
Telecel Ghana made the announcement during the unveiling of Telecel Project X on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
The two-time Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artist of the Year winner expressed excitement about the partnership, describing it as a new chapter in his relationship with the telecommunications company.
“Today, all I want to say is I have tied the knot with Telecel, so whichever app you see KK go live on, be it Instagram, TikTok Live or TV, I’m going to share a code,” he said.
Black Sherif also promised his fans more surprises and promotions through the partnership, urging them to download the Telecel Cash App.
“I’m going to be sharing the Blacko Code, which, if you have downloaded the Telecel Cash App, you’ll be able to make free transactions and gain so many gifts,” he added.
The award winning artist rose to prominence with songs such as ‘First Sermon and Second Sermon ’. Later signed with Empire Record Label and cemented his status as one of Ghana’s leading young artists with his breakthrough album, ‘The Villain I Never Was’ winning him his first artist of the year album at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
His sophomore album, ‘Iron Boy’, released last year, further boosted his profile and earned him several awards at the TGMA, including the Artist of the Year for the second time.
In September 4, 2026, the artist released his EP Sun Sherif, which has continued to attract attention online.
