Two Members of Parliament (MPs) have tested positive for the novel corononavirus disease (COVID-19).
According to Starr FM, the MPs tested positive after reports of the voluntary testing organised for the MPs started coming in.
The identities of the MPs have not been disclosed.
13 Parliamentary staff who were also part of the voluntary testing have also tested positive for the disease.
Following this report, the Speaker of Parliament, Mike Oquaye has ordered that all staff of Parliament and MPs be tested for the disease.
The results of the tests will however protected.
