Owner of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal Alhaji Grunsah has expressed his readiness to sell his club to anyone who is ready.
King Faisal has been without sponsorship for a while. This has resulted in lack of funds to fund the payment of allowances and buying of new players. The bankroller however over the years has shut down any partnership deals.
The club is currently battling against relegation having won 3 out of 13 matches so far in the 2020/2021 season. They surprisingly have score 4 more goals than Kotoko who are at the summit of the table. Alhaji Grunsah’s side hold the record for conceding the goals(24) after match day 13.
Speaking on Floodlight Sports on Angel 102.9, Alhaji Grunsah said, “I am ready for anyone that is ready to buy the club. If somebody can offer not less than $2million, I’ll sell”.
King Faisal and Legon Cities in match day 14 will compete against relegation.
