Aduana Stars have mutually parted ways with the head coach, Asare Bediako, following the team’s recent poor performance in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
He joined the club last in 2021 after replacing Paa Kwesi Fabian on a one-year contract and his deal was due to expire in March 2022.
Asare Bediako would, therefore, be compensated with a one-month salary following his exit.
The news comes after he was adjudged NASCO coach of the month of December in the Ghana Premier League.
As a result of the team’s decline in performance, the two-time league champions recorded just a win in five matches in January, drawing one and losing three.
Meanwhile, the club remains winless in any of their last three home games at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, Dormaa with a draw and two defeats.
The feat is their worse home run in the League since gaining promotion in the topflight League in 2009.
Aduana Stars are expected to appoint a new coach in the coming days to fill in the void left by the former Hearts of Oak Boss.
They currently occupy the 4th position on the league table with 24 points, nine behind leaders Asante Kotoko.
They will travel to the DUN’s park to play Bibiani Gold Stars in the matchday 16 fixture.
Asare Bediako previously coached Brekum Chelsea, Accra Hearts of Oak and Unity FC.
