The President of the Russia, Vladimir Putin, has wished the Republic of Ghana success as the country marks its 65th Independence celebrations.
According to the Russian President, both countries, Russia and Ghana, share a traditional friendly relationship over the years.
He was convinced that further development of the “bilateral dialogue and partnership meets the interests of our people, contributing to the peace and security on the African continent.”
Vladimir Putin made the following statements in a letter shared by the Russian Embassy in Ghana on Twitter.
He further congratulated Ghana as it celebrates its 65th Independence Day.
“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Republic of Ghana – the Independence Day!”
“I wish you good health and every success, as well as happiness and prosperity to all your compatriots,” the letter added.
