“Congratulations to all the newly elected and returning National Officers of our wonderful party,” the Vice President wrote on his Facebook page.

Dr Bawumia added that he is eager to collaborate with the new executives elected while he commended applicants who were unsuccessful and wished them luck in their future endeavours.

“Together, we will strengthen our Party and seek to maintain political influence,” he continued.

The NPP recently concluded its National Delegates Conference over the weekend at the Accra Sports stadium, where the new executives were chosen to lead the party into the 2024 elections to “break the 8”.

Over 40 applicants competed for eight portfolios at the conference which was held under the theme “Holding Together, Working Together” and attracted over 6,000 delegates.

All positions however filled by new candidates except the National Women’s Organizer and Nasara Coordinator, who kept their posts.
