Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sara Adwoa Safo has been voted once again as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency.
The daughter of Engineer Apostle Kwadwo Dafo defeated the son of the Speaker of Parliament, Mike Ocquaye Jnr in the high contested primary.
Adwoa Safo polled 496 votes out of the total of 1040 while Ghana’s Ambassador to India, Mike Oquaye polled 488 votes.
Adwoa Safo after the declaration promised to work to ensure that the party’s votes are maximised in the constituency.
Mike Oquaye Jnr also pledged to offer the needed support.
