Incumbent Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw constituency, Eric Kwakye Darffour has lost to the constituency field Marshal, Mr Joseph Frimpong.
In what seem to be a battle of the titans, with six contestants, Joseph Frimpong beat five with the slightest margin to victory.
Hours into the election, Eric Darffour who doubles as Eastern Regional Minister was reported to be moving from one village to another, undertaking spiritual bath as part of the directions given to him by a spiritualist for him to win the primaries; an action which he denied and threatened to curse persons involved in purporting such lies.
