Ga rapper Nii Addo Quaynor, better known by his stage name Tinny, is said to have contracted the novel coronavirus.
The Makola Kwakwe hitmaker reportedly went into hiding for sometime due to his health condition.
His colleague rapper, Nii Funny disclosed this on Agnel102.9 FM late afternoon show Angel Drive hosted by ace presenter Quophi Okyeame on Wednesday.
According to him, it was Tinny himself who revealed his health status to him.
The “Broken Heart” hitmaker told the host that after weeks of not seeing Tinny in public, he decided to check up on him but to no avail. However, he was able to reach his colleague via telephone on Wednesday, in which the sad news was broken to him.
He vehemently denied that his claim was a publicity stunt. “This is not for us to trend…pray for Tinny”, he made a passionate appeal on air.
As a confirmation of his claim on Angel FM, Nii Funny also took to his social media handle to share to the world that Tinny is Covid-19 positive.
“Covid 19 Is Real Ghanaians Should Pray For Tinny He Has Tested Positive,” he said on Facebook
