Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, is among athletes paying tribute to the family of former President Jerry John Rawlings, after his sudden death.

The former Ghanaian leader died on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
He was known for his active involvement in sports, particularly boxing.
Therefore, it was not surprising how athletes remembered the charismatic ‘Papa J’.
