Members of the Komfo Anokye Doctors Association (KADA), have deferred to Friday, February 4, 2022, their intended strike action over non-payment of car allowance and 13th-month.
According to a statement issued by KADA, after engagements with the management of KATH, they have rescinded their decision to embark on the strike which was originally scheduled for February Tuesday, 1, 2022.
Their decision is a result of an emergency meeting held between members of the association and the management of KATH Monday, January 31, 2022.
The statement indicated KADA’s industrial action had been deferred due to some show of commitment by the management of KATH and the Ministry of Health, to end the long-standing stalemate in the fulfillment of their signed conditions of service in 2019.
They, however, assured their members that they remain resolute and committed to their mandated cause.
