The appointment of the Managing Director of Ghana Airports Company Limited, Yaw Kwakwa has been brought to an end by President Nana Akufo-Addo, according to a letter seen by Angelonline.com.gh.

The staff of the GACL had in a petition to the President in 2020, called for the dismissal of Mr Yaw Kwakwa whom they described as is incompetent.
“The Managing Director, since assumption of office two years ago, has demonstrated gross incompetence, insensitivity and lack of understanding of the critical Aviation Industry and, therefore, his continuous stay in office will further derail the progress of the company,” the petition noted.
