Sulley Muntari provided an assist to mark his first goal contribution for Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, in their game against Legon Cities in the second round of the 2021/22 league season.
The Royals and the Phobians played out to a 1-1 dramatic draw on Saturday afternoon at the El Wak sports stadium in Accra.
Muntari who played his fourth game for Coach Samuel Boadu’s side delivered a brilliant corner kick which was perfectly headed by Isaac Mensah to give them the opener in the 11th minutes.

The Phobians who started the game brightly created few chances to double their lead but failed to capitalize.
However, the hosts, Legon Cities fought hard in the dying minutes as Osman Amadu equalized in injury time.

With the results, Hearts of Oak now trails rivals Asante Kotoko by 11 points after reducing the deficit by one.
Meanwhile, league leaders Asante Kotoko welcome Dreams FC on Sunday, February 27 in their week 18 encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium.
