A gas tanker with registration number GN 4513-21 and filled with LPG has been involved in a crash on the motorway.
The accident is said to have occurred around 2:00 am on Thursday dawn.
Firemen are still at the scene managing the situation while the crew await the arrival of another Gas Tanker Truck to transfer the gas product.
The incident was confirmed by the Ghana National Fire Service via their official Facebook page.
The GNFS has advised motorists plying the motorway to drive cautiously.
The Public Relations Officer of the GNFS at the Tema Region has pledged to release further details soon.
