The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Black Stars will come up against Switzerland in an international friendly in November before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The game which serves as preparatory grounds for the stars will take place at the Baniyas Club Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
A publication sighted on the official website of the GFA said Coach Otto Addo would be expected to use the game to build a side that will face Portugal in the opening group game at the tournament on November 24th.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group H at the 2022 World Cup alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.
According to FA, the friendly against the Swiss will complete the calendar for the Black Stars going into the tournament proper.
Ghana qualified for the World Cup after beating Nigeria in a two-legged playoff in March.
