His apology comes after becoming the current talk on Twitter after the resurrection of his old tweets dated 2012.
Kidi’s old tweets dating back from 2012 were directed at President Nana Addo, former president John Dramani Mahama, and media personalities Anita Akuffo as well as Deloris Frimpong Manso, some of which were random statements.
Amongst the numerous tweets, he directed to the current president Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo is one that reads “Nana Addo’s face has fooled” which is a direct translation from a Twi phrase “Nana Addo anim agyimi”.
Another tweet by the Ghanaian high-life artiste directed at Former President John Dramani Mahama read “Y’all complain about Mahama, LMAO…Niggaz Got 3 MORE YEARS. Means 3 MORE YEARS of suffering or maybe worse.”
In another tweet, he talked about Delay’s education KiDi said “I think delay is an illiterate *shruggs*“
The ‘Touch It’ hitmaker in the series of his tweets made a revelation about himself and Anita Akuffo way back in class three.
“Back in class 3 when, whenever a Sean Paul song came up in the Jams Room, I went wild on Anita’s Ass…” the tweet reads.
Following this, the tweet of the highlife artiste has caught the attention of numerous Twitter users and some have taken a swipe at the musician.
In a quick response, KiDi on Thursday, September 29, 2022, expressed remorse and called on the general public including the affected persons to forgive him.
“Years ago, when I was young and ignorant and didn’t understand the implications and consequences of my words, I tweeted things that were inappropriate and unkind. As I matured, I came to be extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved.
“I want to apologies against everyone for the statement I made and use this to remind us of all to be mindful of the things we say and how they affect people. Let’s be kind to each other,” KiDi’s apology reads.
