Western Regional RFA Chairman Kojo Yankah, has officially announced his candidature to contest for the FA presidency of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Confirming his intention of becoming the next football president in the country, the experienced football administrator said it is time to come and save the image of Ghana football from the rots.
Mr. Yanka becomes the first to declare his intention to contest the incumbent, Kurt Okraku.
He is bent on unseating incumbent GFA President, Kurt Okraku, in the election slated for October 2023.
“I am very ready, and it is time for me to also leave a mark on Ghana Football. It is time for a new administration to take over affairs at the GFA and I am the right person.
“The love for Ghana football is not there anymore and I am the one to bring it back,” the astute football administrator said in an interview on Happy FM monitored by Angelonline.com.gh.
According to him, looking at his competence and expertise coupled with knowledge in sports administration, he will do a better job to bring back the passion of football to Ghanaians than Kurt Okraku.
Meanwhile, it is rumored that Bankroller and President of Berekum Chelsea, Bernard Amofa Jantuah is lacing his boots and may soon announce plans to also contest the GFA presidency.
