Mobile Money vendor hangs himself after being defrauded GH¢15K

A 30-year-old Mobile Money vendor residing at Awutu Bawjiase in Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region has allegedly committed suicide by hanging over GH¢15,000 cedis debt.

The deceased, Francis Larbie, is reported to have committed the act in his bedroom.

Sources available to Angelonline.com.gh, said the mobile money vendor now deceased could not get back to his normal self after some unidentified men last week defrauded him of the aforementioned amount.

The owner of the business was said to have pressured him demanding that he pays for the amount. The persistent pressure from his boss cause him to end his life.

Neighbours who found him hanging in his room reported the case to the Awutu Bawjiase District Police Command who proceeded to the scene and conveyed the body to police mortuary for preservation and further investigation.
