Ashanti Regional NPP Constituency Chairmen Caucus Congratulates NAPO on Confirmation as Running Mate

The Ashanti Region NPP Constituency Chairmen Caucus has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh following his confirmation as the running mate of the NPP flag-bearer, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

In a statement, the Caucus highlighted Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s exemplary dedication and unwavering commitment to the growth of the party and the nation, which have been recognized through his nomination and subsequent confirmation by the NPP National Council.

“This is indeed a well-deserved recognition,” the statement read, expressing confidence that Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s leadership and vision will significantly contribute to the party’s success.

The Caucus also pledged its full support to Dr. Opoku Prempeh and the party’s agenda to “break the 8.” The statement emphasized the collective determination to work tirelessly to ensure victory for the NPP and to continue the progress and development of the nation.

Abraham Kofi Oduro-Kyeremateng, Secretary of the Ashanti Region Constituency Chairmen Caucus, signed the statement, conveying best wishes to Dr. Opoku Prempeh on the journey ahead.

 

On Thursday, July 4, the National Council of the party, endorsed Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO as the running mate of Dr Bawumia.

In his acceptance statement on July 4, NAPO pledged his dedication to supporting Dr Bawumia in effectively communicating his transformative campaign message, aimed at breaking the 8-year political cycle and securing a decisive victory for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.

He vowed to collaborate closely with Dr Bawumia, leveraging their collective strengths to ensure victory for the New Patriotic Party.

“As I assume the role of running mate alongside my esteemed boss, H.E. Dr Bawumia, I am committed to supporting him to prosecute a formidable 2024 campaign to break the 8-year election cycle and serve our beloved country diligently. Let us work together towards a brighter future for Ghana,” he promised.
