President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to prioritize the completion of unfinished healthcare facilities.

According to him, his government will ensure the completion of all projects initiated under the previous administration.

The President’s assurance reflects his commitment to and prioritization of quality healthcare delivery.

It is worth recalling that before the 2024 general elections, Mr. Mahama, in his campaign promises, highlighted his intention to continue all abandoned projects across the country if elected.

“We shall continue abandoned health projects and operationalize them as key steps toward expanding healthcare access nationwide,” Mr. Mahama said on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Winneba.

He further added, “We will prioritize investment in infrastructure and human resources to ensure accessible, quality medical care.”

President Mahama’s promise follows an appeal from his predecessor, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who urged him during his final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on January 3 to complete the Agenda 111 projects.
