The African Center for Security and Counterterrorism (ACSC) is demanding answers from National Security regarding the seizure the substantial yet unspecified amount of U.S. dollars and Ghana cedis notes, concealed in twelve 20-footer shipping containers.
Executive Director of ACSC, Emmanuel Kotin, questioned the delay in updating the public about the incident and the lack of transparency in the investigation.
Speaking Wednesday, April 2, 2025, on Angel TV, he expressed concerns about power abuse, stating, “We don’t vest power in someone for the individual to use the power to enable aid him or herself in criminal activities to richness.”
He emphasized that failing to brief the general public about updates on the incident would lead to numerous problems.
