Deputy National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen Oforiwaa, has slammed Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, the Spokesperson to the President.
According to Ms. Oforiwaa, the temperament of Mr. Kwakye Ofosu does not reflect well on someone who speaks on behalf of the presidency.
The NPP communicator made these remarks concerning the brouhaha over Rev. Ntim Fodjour’s recent cocaine and money laundering allegations, which have sparked widespread controversy in the country.
Speaking on Angel TV, Ms. Oforiwaa criticized the President’s spokesperson, stating that his public outburst in handling the matter was uncalled for, and called for a revision of his communication strategy and skills, particularly regarding his temperament in public.
“We demand that you come and give an explanation that people will understand, but his [Felix Kwaakye Ofosu’s] temperament is getting out of hand. He needs advice to work on his temperament because, for these four years, if he is not reshuffled, he will be communicating with Ghanaians as the government’s spokesperson,” she told Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show.
She continued and questioned that “So, is he going to remain in office and continue fighting us with his temperament issues?”
The NPP communicator further called out Mr. Kwakye Ofosu behaviour and pointed out that “It will go against him.”
