NACOC intercepts 73 slabs of suspected cocaine at Swiss Port

The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested four individuals following the interception of a cargo shipment containing suspected cocaine at the Swiss Port at Tema, Accra on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

According to NACOC, the arrests were made during an operation conducted at the Swiss Port.

During the operation, NACOC officials uncovered seventy-three (73) slabs of a concealed substance believed to be cocaine.

The suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 89.74 kilograms, were reportedly being prepared for export to the Netherlands.

The four suspects are currently in NACOC custody as investigations continue.
