Parliament has opened a Book of Condolence in honour of the eight persons who tragically lost their lives in a recent helicopter crash.
The initiative, led by Speaker Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin offers a space for citizens, officials, and Members of Parliament to express their sympathies and pay tribute to the departed.
In a symbolic act of leadership, Speaker Bagbin was the first to sign the Book of Condolence, underscoring Parliament’s commitment to national mourning and remembrance.
A statement from Parliament, the Book is located in the foyer of Parliament House and is open to the public from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
“Members of Parliament, staff of the Parliamentary Service, and the general public are invited to visit the Foyer to pay tribute and offer messages of sympathy to the bereaved families,” Parts of the statement urged.
Parliament has urged all Ghanaians to join in honouring the memory of the deceased and extending comfort to their families.
