The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has arrested Freeman Sarbah, the acting Head of Legal at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Mr. Sarbah is under investigation for suspected corruption and related offences, as well as obstruction of justice.
He is reportedly in connection with the revenue assurance contract between the GRA and Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML).
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, Monday, November 3, 2025, the OSP indicated that the accused is assisting with investigations.
The Office further noted that the investigation involves several senior officials from both the GRA and the Ministry of Finance.
