Two officers of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) in the Tempane District of the Upper East Region are currently battling for their lives following a shooting incident.
The officers sustained gunshot wounds after unknown assailants reportedly opened fire on them at Nagani.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at approximately 11:00 PM.
The injured officers were swiftly transported to the hospital and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Tempane, Mbilla Joseph, has confirmed the incident and stated that security agencies have launched investigations to apprehend the perpetrators.
