Two supporters of Aduana Football Club have been confirmed dead following an accident that occurred in Aboabo, Kumasi, on the evening of Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Reports indicate that the accident happened after the team’s Ghana Premier League (GPL) 1-1 draw with Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.
According to reports, the tricycle carrying some fans veered off the road and crashed at Aboaso in the Ashanti Region.
Following this, two of the victims succumbed to their injuries, while two others were hospitalized.
In a statement, Aduana Stars deeply regretted the incident.
“We regret to announce that two of the fans have lost their lives and two others are currently on admission at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital,” the club said.
The former league champions added that the injured individuals are “responding to treatment,” and wished them a speedy recovery.
They expressed condolences to the bereaved families and wished them strength and empathy.
