The Presidential Aide and Government Communication Team Member, Samuel Ayeh, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP), deafening silence on “Domsor” related issues compared to their initial criticism is interesting.
He, however, alluded that the opposition party’s sudden silence is not news because the ruling government has bid farewell to the power crisis.
He further debunked the opposition’s claims about the government’s performance, citing examples such as the depreciation of the dollar and the fall in fuel prices as evidence of the government’s achievements.
Speaking on the Angel Morning Show (AMS), Monday, December 1, 2025, Mr. Ayeh stated that Ghana has bid farewell to “dumsor” thanks to the prudent economic management of the government, led by H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
Mr. Ayeh attributed the success in the energy sector to the government’s efforts, saying the measures put in place have eradicated power outages in the country.
“No more dumsor, we are working assiduously to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians,” Mr. Samuel Ayeh added, urging Ghanaians to give the government credit for its efforts.
He took a swipe at the NPP for failing to provide logistics to fuel plants during their time in office, which he said would have sustained power supply.
He touted the government’s significant strides. Dr. Samuel highlighted the government’s commitment to managing the country’s finances effectively.
He further implied that the Prez Mahama administration is being responsible with taxpayers’ money and making decisive decisions to ensure economic stability.
