The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported 12 new confirmed cases of Mpox as of November 28, 2025, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 908.
According to the latest Mpox update, there have been a total of 3 deaths attributed to the virus, with no new deaths recorded in the latest period.
There are currently no patients on admission due to Mpox.
The Service emphasizes that Mpox primarily spreads through close contact with someone infected with the virus.
In light of this, health authorities are urging citizens to take precautions to protect themselves and others by maintaining good hygiene practices.
Symptoms of Mpox include fever, rash, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, chills, and tiredness.
The GHS is advising anyone experiencing these symptoms to visit the nearest health facility immediately for proper diagnosis and care.
